Heavy Metal ReviewListening to just some of the tracks, you might think this album came from the rock/metal rack, not the house/electronica rack (note that "Heavy Metal" is the album title, not the genre). The base and drums are heavier than you get from most rock bands, and very, very cool guitar riffs.
Still, this is unmistakably reminiscent of the early '80s techno scene. Japanese prodigy Tatsuya Oe, aka Captain Funk, has produced his best work yet in this album, in my opinion.
You don't listen to this one with the volume turned down.Heavy Metal Overview
