Hero ReviewWhere do I start? This CD is as good as it gets. I've told a number of people about this band, and let them borrow my cd, and every single one comes back to me saying how awesome it is. I have not found a single person that doesn't like it. When listening to the CD, you get a sense of sincerity. You feel like they connect with you, whether it be about something serious (questioning the notion, six-string rocketeer) or something funny (five), you can tell it's coming from the heart.
Favorite Songs: (of mine, but also almost everybody else I've talked to.)
#6 Questioning the Notion - awesome song about the world's problems.
#7 Six-String Rocketeer - great song for anybody, but especially relating to those going through, or who have gone through a divorce.
#9 3000 Miles Away - for all you softies, great love song.
#4 Tangled Web - actually my least favorite song overall, but very catchy guitar and it DEFINITELY should have been the theme to Spiderman.
Oh, and these guys are just as sincere in person. They are all awesome, real people, and they're concerts are just the same. There's no "look at me" mentality when they're on stage. They interact with people. They talk to people. They make fools of themselves. And best of all, they take no credit for their increasing popularity. Too many Christian bands act like they've become too good for their fans. Well, Daily Planet is breaking that trend.Hero Overview
