Do It ReviewPoncho's new CD is solid, the band is tight as ever, and his voice seems to have gotten stronger. As a long time fan of Tower of Power, the two tunes featuring the TOP entire band are superb, Doc's baritone sax stands out. Check out Squibb Cakes. Saw Poncho live in Seattle last night and they played "Do It", written by trombonist Francisco Torres, he is a hunk of a player, great writer/arranger too. I've been listening to and watching Poncho since his days with Cal Tjader, he just seems to get better with age, like a good red wine. This is a must for Poncho lovers.Do It Overview
