All They Ever Wanted ReviewI found out about Johnossi while studying abroad. Their first album (self titled) is sold in the States, but the second (All They Ever Wanted), and in my mind the better one, is not. All They Ever Wanted takes you on a melodic, poetic, and angst ridden trip through the mind and heart of John Engelbert. This album is a gem and is a must have for any serious music aficionado.
John Englebert's voice is heart breaking, and at times reminds me of Kurt Cobain's. 18 Karat Gold is the first track, and the big single in Europe. It is haunting to say the least, and the lyrics themselves reverberate through my head for days. Every friend that I have sampled this band to has become an instant fan.All They Ever Wanted Overview
