Kissuiongaku ReviewThe more I listen to this, the more I like it. I only wish that there were more than seven songs.
The first track "Peace" is the strongest commercially. So catchy that you'll find yourself singing along in Japanese although you have no idea what the lyrics mean.
# 2 is hot, too. Great melody and vocals on this one.
"Holiday" is another hit. Mellow - feels like a day at the beach with a drink in your hand and your toes in the sand.
"Yoru" (evening) is even more relaxed. Nice groove.
"Change" picks up the tempo, and the chorus is infectious.
"One Love" is rather haunting, it would be nice at this point to have a translation of the lyrics. Hopefully if they achieve some success in the US, they will publish an English version of their next album.
The last track, "Taisetsu na mono" (important things) is again mellow and very melodic. Nice closer, it leaves one feeling relaxed and thoughtful.
Music is the universal language. The fact that the lyrics are sung in Japanese in no way diminished my enjoyment. Anyone can appreciate this music.
